Job Description

​

We are seeking a Business Research Analyst to conduct business and market research, analyse information and prepare reports to support business planning and commercial decision-making.

The role will involve researching markets, industries, competitors and business trends; collecting and analysing qualitative and quantitative information; identifying relevant opportunities and risks; and presenting clear findings and recommendations to management.

Key Responsibilities

* Conduct business, market and competitor research.
* Collect, verify and analyse information from reliable sources.
* Identify market trends, opportunities and business risks.
* Prepare research reports, presentations and analytical summaries.
* Maintain accurate research records and databases.
* Analyse business data and produce tables, charts and reports.
* Monitor relevant industry and market developments.
* Provide research-based information to support management decisions.
* Work with internal teams and external information sources.
* Maintain confidentiality and comply with company policies and applicable UK requirements.

Desired Requirements

* Degree or equivalent qualification in Business, Economics, Research, Statistics, Social Sciences or a related subject.
* Relevant experience in business, market or commercial research.
* Strong analytical and research skills.
* Ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative information.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
